Re: Reset date and lost communication
Reads were 100% before I tried to set the date. It's curious.

Re: Reset date and lost communication
Jameson Yes I was able to communicate prior to the date change. Yesterday 12/5: After changing the time and pressing ok, I received the bad response error. When I checked the time/date again it was a time and date in the future, i.e. set the time to 8 pm on 12/5, pressed ok, got a bad response error...

Reset date and lost communication
I had to change the date on my 25IDS meter and now it won't communicate with Dash. I get a "bad meter response" error. Additionally, the date changes on its own when I close out of the editor to a time in the future. I discovered this when reopening the editor.

Re: New Wifi/lost communications and iSerial login failure
My statements to no green light referred to your's and BlueHornet's 2012 procedures which indicated it should blink while resetting. It comes on once the Ethernet cable is plugged in, however, 2 of the procedures didn't note that it should be plugged back in during the procedure, but indicated the l...

Re: New Wifi/lost communications and iSerial login failure
Here's what I did. First I used BlueHornet's method from his post of October 16, 2012. 1. Disconnect the Ethernet cable 2. Disconnect the serial cable 3. Disconnect the power supply 4. Unscrew the two screws on each side on the unit and remove the cover 5. Locate the small white reset button, next t...

Re: New Wifi/lost communications and iSerial login failure
OK, so I guess at this point I've learned my lesson: don't listen to anyone's advice on this forum unless it's your advice. Unfortunately, that doesn't help me solve my problem. A problem, interestingly enough, that is still the same as it was from the beginning of this thread, namely, I cannot get ...

Re: New Wifi/lost communications and iSerial login failure
I had tried admin/system from an earlier recommendation without success. system/admin failed as well. I expected the hard reset would allow access with admin/admin, which is default, and I was told the reset restored the iSerial to defaults. Had I known this would not work I never would have reset i...
