How do I obtain account keys for used units bought on eBay.
Do I just use the serial numbers?

Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
Thanks for the prompt reply. 1. I'm a firmware developer and would be interested in flashing my own code via JTAG. Will the documentation be detailed enough for me to do this? 2. I've used current transformers in the past to measure power, like is done in the Omnimeter V.4, Will the ioStack natively...

Push3 repair
I have a broken Push3 that I would like to repair. Is a schematic diagram available?
Once it is fixed, how do I commission it to new Omnimeter V.4 addresses, and remove an old address?

Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
The new EKM ioStack seems to accomplish what I wanted to do. It appears to be a replacement for the Omnimeter V.4. How is the ioStack programmed? Could the analog inputs be used as additional pulse counters? I would be interested in building my own version of the ioStack. Is a schematic diagram avai...

Question about enclosures and outside temperatures
Any issues with devices overheating in an UL enclosure in the winter or freezing up under extreme cold?
How much heat does each module generate?

Space in EKM0303015 UL Enclosure
Will the following modules fit in the EKN-303015 UL Enclosure?
2 Omnimeter-1-V3
1 EKM Push=3
RUT240 Cellular modem
12V Din power supply
2 ethernet cables bringing in signals from 2 water meters and 2 gas meters.
It is hard to tell since the Push3 does not show the mounting direction.

Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
One possible issue is the Meter Number. The Dash program wanted me to enter a "valid" number, but seemed to accepted a bogus number.

Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
I would like comments about the feasibility of using a Raspberry Pi (or Arduino board) to read multiple pulse inputs (6) and send/receive messages over RS485 using the Push3 protocol; and then use the EKM Cloud to process data. I know how to read the inputs and could handle parsing the protocol, but...

Recommed location to install water meters
Like to get recommendations on where to locate 2 water meters for sub-metering a duplex. Can the meters be buried below ground with cement walls and iron cover? Better to locate near city meter or near the house? (Closer to the house would shorten wiring to be pulled.) Should meters be protected fro...

Re: All Connectivity Options including Wireless Options
Another possible Cellular IP is the Vega NB-11 NB-IOT Pulse reader with external antenna. It supports 6 counters and NB-IoT SIM card and is $100 on eBay. However the protocol appear different that that of the Push3, so it may not be supported by the Widget, Encounter, or Dash software.
