Hi Jameson,

I'm not using any resistors at all, because of the distance isn't that far and since i got understood neither you connect at both sides or none and i'm not sure how to connect on the meter side or if the meter already has these include, so i decided to connect none. But could you give me a description of how to connect this biasing resistors and the terminating or show me with a picture.

I actually had a 120 terminating resistor on the receiver (my max with the PIC) but i took it off.
Thank you.

Because you are developing your own hardware device, much of this work and experimentation will be up to you.

Biasing resistors go from RS485 A to Positive and from B to Negative. Terminating resistors go from A to B. I would just play with the values until you are happy with the results.

Hi Jameson, ok thank you i understand.

You were right about flushing the buffer, now im still dealing with the noise.
