What would you like to know about? Our Omnimeters do keep track of Max Demand. This is a value that is based on average Max Watts (not the actual peak) for a set period of time (15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes). I would prefer to use the Omnimeter Pulse v.4 to keep track of Max Demand as it has the ability to be set to Auto Reset Max Demand on a schedule. For example, here is a v4 Omnimeter that is set to Auto Reset Max Demand once per day:

Also, when reading a v4 Omnimeter with a USB Converter or iSerial, you can setup the EKM Dash to do what we call Trigger Based Relay Control. You can have your EKM Dash monitor the Total Watts or Net Watts of your meter and turn a relay on or off if a parameter is exceeded for a period of time. For example, you could set up your system to turn OFF a relay if the Total Watts was over 20,000 watts for 4 meter reads in a row, or turn a relay OFF if the volts on Line 1 was less than 200 for 3 reads in a row, or if you are metering solar production, you could turn a relay ON if your Net Watts was greater than -1000 (negative 1000) for 2 reads in a row (some customers use this to heat water rather than send excess power back to the grid, which in some areas of the world you do not get paid for)
