Re: Push 3 Installation Question
Hello Ezzie, what the USB port is for on the Push 3 The USB port is for connecting a USB stick, you can use either the SD card that comes with the Push3 gateway or a USB storage stick to store meter data. If the Push3 gateway loses connection to the internet, it will store data to the SD card or USB...

Re: Data Storage Capacity
Our meters will work from 46-64Hz with the same accuracy (0.5% accurate meter and CT combination.) 34.5Hz is outside of its operating specs. It sounds like you may want to shop for a much more capable, advanced (and expensive) Power Quality Monitor.

Re: Data Storage Capacity
I would highly recommend the Push3 gateway for what you sound like you are wanting to do. It is certainly the most powerful, scalable, stable, and data rich option that we provide. It also allows you to easily create csv files of real-time and summary data. You can use all of our software options. S...

Re: Configuration for shared electricity supply
Thank you for your report of an error with the encompass demo account. Do you know how to recreate the error? Do you have a small computer screen? That will show an error if you do. We are very open to how you choose to utilize the EKM Metering data. We provide both the v.3 and v.4 Omnimeter serial ...

Re: Data Storage Capacity
Hi Jim, Thank you for bringing your post to my attention. It sounds like we are not aligning on our understanding. Here is what we store: In the meter: Not much at all. Just the latest values kWh, volts on each phase, etc. 6 months of once per month kWh reads (only 6 data points) In the real-time Pu...

Re: Data Storage Capacity
When the data storage is expressed as 1000 reads, does this mean that each read is 42 measurements? When we are referring to storing the latest 1000 intervals, this is the latest 1000 real-time (once per minute in most cases) meter read intervals. This would come to 1000 minutes of storage if your ...

Re: Configuration for shared electricity supply
Your proposed system looks good. If you are at all considering water or gas metering in the future I would go with the Omnimeter Pulse v.4 rater than the v.3. I should be able to set all of this up in a weathertight, locking enclosure adjacent to the main utility metered supply into the house, inclu...

Re: Data Storage Capacity
Hello Jim, I think your proposal would work, but it would be rather a manual process and you would not be able to gather much data if your PC was not on the site 24/7. If it were me, I would take a look at the Push3 system instead. You could have a Push3 gateway on the site reading the Omnimeter Pul...

Re: Concurrent Data Collection Using Push3 and Dash
Hello Ezzie, It is not easy to have the EKM Push3 and the USB converter share the same RS485 bus and wireless mesh network at the same time. This is because the EKM Push3 is always trying to read the meters it is assigned to as fast as possible. So the Push3 is trying to read the meters faster than ...

Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
The EKM Push3 will only read data from the Omnimeters it is assigned to. So there would not be a point to spoof an Omnimeter Pulse v.4. You would have to spoof an Omnimeter Pulse v.4 number that you already own. In short, I do not know of an easy way to do this, or a reason to do it.
