EKM to Home Assistant (HEMS)
Here are the settings we use to gather data with Home Assistant. We use both the cloud REST API and/or the Push3 LAN APIs (direct from the Push3 gateway itself) to gather data from Omnimeters and ioStacks. Please see the attached image and the contents of our sensors.yml file below. You will want to...

Re: EKM Push Summary API
Yes, you can set your Push3 to send meter data to your own server via SFTP, we can set it so that it will not send meter data to our own EKM Push servers. With SFTP, you can setup your gateway to securely send real-tme data and 15 minute summary data to your own cloud servers. This could be your own...

Re: EKM Push Summary API
Hello John Doe, thank you for keeping this thread rolling. We have a LAN API to the data from the Push3, and we have a way to get the 15 minute summaries from the Push3. There is no way to pull a daily summary directly from the Push3 gateway. ======= Here is some information about the Local LAN Data...

Re: Data Storage Capacity
Hello John Doe, When we sell a Push system, it comes with an EKM Push account key. This is a long series of letters and numbers which give you access to the data from that account. If the owner of this key were to share it with anyone, they would also have access to the meter data. With the Push sys...

Re: Graphs for water and gas.
I think I would start with the last troubleshooting step, it will tell you the most for now. Have you run a test to see how the city water meter and the EKM sub water meter compare? Turn off the water to the main house, run only water in the back house. Run something like 5 cubic feet or more of wat...

Re: Graphs for water and gas.
Please explain what the issue you are seeing is. What are you seeing on the EKM water meter and what would you expect to see? Is the EKM water meter only connected to the rear unit and is only measuring what the rear unit is using? What dates did the water utility read their meter? Which dates are y...

Re: Graphs for water and gas.
Water bill reported 7480 gal total and pulse meter reported 7832 gal for just the rear unit. I would make sure that the start date and end date that your water utility read your utility water bill was exactly the same as your EKM water meter was read. You will also want to be sure encompass is conv...

Re: Graphs for water and gas.
Hello Oz,
Yes, you should be able to select Therms for your "Display Units" for your gas meter, this is behind the Meter Settings tab in the www.encompass.io interface.

Re: Temperature limitations
I probably would not risk it to be honest. I would either find an appropriate 3rd party vertical hot water meter model (preferably with a pulse output), or I would use one of our horizontal hot water meters and just plumb it so that the water meter is installed horizontally and the pipes are plumbed...

Re: Graphs for water and gas.
1.) Good to hear! Pulse meters can be defined in Encompass as either water or gas meters: https://help.ekmmetering.com/support/solutions/articles/6000162558-setting-up-water-or-gas-meters-in-your-account By the way for anyone else reading this post. If your water meters or gas meters do not show up ...
