Re: EKM Dash software not working when in background (MacOS High Sierra)

If you have reliability issues with your 230 volt supply of power, I would probably resort to a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) for your networking gear. Something similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/APC-Back-UPS-325VA-230Volt-battery/dp/B00066HV46 The UPS should take over when you have a power...

Re: Accessing old meter data

Hello Sunpack, The Omnimeter Pulse v.4 does not store historical data about pulse counts. The only data that it stores is the 6 months of monthly kWh data. https://help.ekmmetering.com/support/solutions/articles/6000076004-do-your-meters-have-onboard-storage-data-logging- You will need to connect yo...

Re: solar loads

The solar pump you need will depend on what you are trying to do. You will need to know: What is the pressure? What is the required flow? What is the diameter of your pipe? AC or DC? Direct Solar Powered? Efficiency requirements? Im sure there are other questions. There is a big difference between a...

Re: EKM Dash software not working when in background (MacOS High Sierra)

Hello Piet, Please send us an email, we will send you the latest development version of the EKM Dash. It should fix the issue of your Mac going into "AppNap" and causing issues with the Dash unreliability when in the background. (let us know if this fixes the issue). The dev version has a lot of hal...

Re: Getting more resolution using a v.3 meter

Cool to hear about your system and Cacti. Im not sure what you would lose by changing the CT ratio to 1000 amps, then dividing by 5. I would just give it a shot. You should have the same accuracy and range. Not sure about precision. Is your weather data also based on a count? We have a simple wind a...

Re: EKM Meter Widget vs Encompass.io Total Kwh discrepancy

It does not look like your meters internal clock is properly set. I would first set your meter clock to be as close as possible to your computer date. Here is how you can set your meter time: https://help.ekmmetering.com/support/solutions/articles/6000107129-how-to-adjust-the-meter-date-time Let me ...

Re: Getting more resolution using a v.3 meter

Hello Eventhorizons, This is very cool! What kind of a machine are you running this on? Are you reading your Omnimeters with a USB converter? Before we move forward, can you clarify something? You mention that you would like higher resolution than the 0.1 kWh that the Omnimeter I v.3 provides. But t...

Re: Please help choosing the right meter.

Hello, The EKM 25IDS sounds like it could be the correct meter for you if your wires are under 3/8" diameter and you are metering less than 100 amps. You do not need to purchase external CTs with this meter. The EKM 25IDS already has the CTs internally. When you pass your wires through the tubes in ...

Re: EKMv4 not work in PVoutout

Hello Stishsun, PVOutput is a 3rd party site that takes in your Push data and displays it to you. I think they take in Total Watts and Total kWh. RMS_Watts_Ln_1, RMS_Watts_Ln_2, RMS_Watts_Ln_3 are the watts on each line. I do not think PVOutput displays this data on their site. If you have RMS_Watts...

Re: Smart Home Integration

Hello Lee,

Thank you very much for checking back in and for the feedback on your water meter system! We really appreciate it.

If you get a chance would you post some photos of your setup, or screenshots of your data on the Brultech side?

Glad to hear all is well,
