Re: EKM Not tracking Utility Smart meter
Bill, I am still not seeing enough information (I assume you are on a 120/240 volt system with 2 hot lines). The very best would be to email us the .csv file from your meter reads. To do this you go to EKM Dash> File> Export. Create the csv, this will show us voltage on all line, amps on all, lines,...

Re: Reset iSerial Reader
I am not aware of an issue with the iSerial being on 192.168.0.xxx networks. If I want to reset an iSerial I try either of these two processes. Dont usually get it on the first try so give it a few tries. Process for resetting iSerial Switch 1. Unplug ethernet 2. Start with iSerial Powered Up 3. Hol...

Re: EKM Not tracking Utility Smart meter
Hello Bill, What does "Total KWH" really mean ? Total kWh is Forward kWh + Reverse kWh. If you have a system that has power flowing in one direction (from the gird to the house or load in most cases) then you should not be seeing Reverse kWh incrementing if the meter is connected properly....

Re: ekm dash read data error
Hello Vishnu, Thank you for sending us these screenshots, they are very helpful. It looks like somehow you have the meter number: -727379969 entered as your first meter number. This is not a meter number that EKM would have produced. This is causing errors when the EKM Dash software tries to read a ...

Re: Reset iSerial Reader
Hello Mrngneom, Welcome to the EKm forum!! We have a small piece of software called VCOM (PC only) that is used to scan your local network for any iSerial. You run it and it will return all of the IP addresses of the iSerials on your network. Here is a link to the pdf about the VCOM softwa...

Re: Time of Use Reports
Hello Bill, The Meter takes the "6 Months of Monthly Reads" meter reading on the last day of the month at midnight. This is according to the meter's internal clock. Is it possible that you were messing with the meter time? It seems like it took its "6 Months of Monthly Reads" rea...

Re: iSerial Read Data Error
pbless, Thank you for your question on the forum. We ended up having to send Vdoshi a replacement iSerial  We have not heard how that has worked out for him. Thank you very much for sending us your Hex Data grab from the Hex Inspector window of the EKM Dash, this is helpful. We have spotted th...

Re: ekm dash read data error
Hello Vishnu. OK, there are a few things that pop out to me. First is it looks like you have 3 separate CTs connected, you will only need 2 CTs for this 3-phase 3-wire system. Please follow this wiring video: http://www.ekmmetering.com/information/the-complete-guide.html#answer7 Second it looks like...

Re: Comments on new EKM Dash
Gagnon, Thank you very much for your feedback, this is very useful to us. We should have a sizeable upgrade to the EKM Dash available soon, stay tuned. 1. What is "demand period" ? Demand Period has to do with Max Demand: Some customers are charged by their utility for what is called Max D...
