Re: Gas meter specs
Leon, This is for your metric meter only (so those of you with a gas meter that reads in Cubic Feet can ignore this) 100 Pulses = 1 Cubic Meter 1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet 1 Pulse = .353147 Cubic Feet I would set your electric meter to increment 1 every 1 Pulse Input (set it to 1:1) There is ...

Re: Reading meter using PHP
LBJ, Yes, you are right, this is great. Very nice of rcarsey to put this together. To be honest I was not certain what I was doing. I just took the code (word for word) that is posted here by rcarsey and pasted it into a file that I named "ekm-php-reader.php". I changed the IP address, por...

Re: Gas meter specs
Hello Leon, The older model (metric) gas meter you have pulses 100 times per Cubic Meter of Gas. This is about 1 Pulse per .353147 Cubic Feet (edited by Jameson to correct an error) The conversion from Cubic Meters to Cubic Feet is: 1 Cubic Meter = 35.3147 Cubic Feet Here is a link that lets you mak...

Re: Where do I get the EKM Push Real Time Widget
There are a couple of ways you can use the EKM Widget with your EKM Push account. You can either: go to http://www.ekmmetering.com , click on the "i" icon, then enter your own meter number and EKM Push User Key. or You can embed the widget in your own website. To do this insert this html i...

Re: EKM PUSH to PVOutput.org - Auto Uploader Service
andynbradshaw, I would imagine that you are correct. It seems like the PVOutput auto uploader only takes real-time "watt" data from the EKM Push system. They then use this to calculate "Kilowatt Hour" data, rather than taking the "Kilowatt Hour Data" directly from the E...

Re: Dash Crash Help !
Hello Bill, Thanks for letting us know. We may have seen this issue one other time. It had something to do with PCs that share a screen (have 2 screens next to each other for one PC, do you have anything like this?). We were not able to reproduce the problem here in order to be able to fix the issue...

Re: Does iSerial do SNMP / remote data retrieval
raduv, Welcome to the forum. We use the iSerial as a "virtual serial port". We send the hex meter requests to this "virtual serial port". The iSerial is really a "dumb" converter box, it does not generate the meter requests itself. The hex request is generated by the co...

Re: Omnimeter amps and volt reading
Hello Vishnu, It sounds like you have an Omnimeter I v.3 connected to a 3-phase 3-wire system. Did you use this wiring diagram? (including the jumper from port 8 to port 10): http://www.ekmmetering.com/information/the-complete-guide.html#answer7 The only way to properly meter a 3-phase 3-wire system...
