Re: Difference between Omnimeter I and II?
Hey there Myself248, Welcome to the forum. Here is a helpful chart that compares the 3 different EKM-Omnimeter models: http://documents.ekmmetering.com/Omnimeter-Comparison-Chart.pdf All of our Omnimeters communicate at the same speed (9600 baud) The main differences between the Omnimeter I and the ...

Re: Paralleling CTs
Hello Cogilvie58, Glad you got the wiring sorted out. Please verify that you have an Omnimeter Pulse v.4. (rather than a v.3 Omnimeter) This is the only meter we carry that has the ability to keep track of kilowatt hours on each line separately. You can see all of the values the Omnimeter Pulse v.4 ...

Re: Relay Control with Omnimeter v4
Hello Jens, Thank you very much for these ideas. I would say that these are exactly the kind of features that we are looking to implement in the future, but we do not have them right now. All we have in the Dash so far as control is concerned is ON, OFF, ON for 1 to 9999 seconds, and OFF for 1 to 99...

Re: How to erase record of meter?
Hello Arima, It sounds like you would like to reset the Meter's recorded kWh to zero. This is not possible with our meters. In order to provide revenue grade metering and to prevent tampering, we cannot reset the "Total kWh" to zero. Our new Omnimeter Pulse v.4 has a "Resettable kWh&q...

Re: Paralleling CTs
Yes, you should be fine if you have 2 CTs on line 1 and 2 CTs on line 2. Make sure that you have them wired to the meter in parallel (not in series). This is used if you have multiple wires which will not fit through one CT that you want to meter. You are correct that all line1 wires must be from Li...

Re: Pulse on the 25IDS
Hey Phase90, I would have to say that sounds correct, but I am not well versed in these things. I think the best will be to try it out. I should probably have said "27VDC max" I am certain your 3.3or 5 VDC will work and will not harm the meter. Our 6 Digit Pulse Counter has a small 1.5V ba...

Re: Can i reuse these CTs with EKM V.3 Omnimeter
Hello noisette123 and welcome to the forum. I would say that it would be possible to use your CTs with our meter provided that you will not be very accurate and I would not load them to full 100 amps. Our meters are designed to measure the 26.6mA output of our CTs, so you will not want to exceed thi...

Re: Pulse on the 25IDS
Hello Phase90, Welcome to the forum! The Pulse Output of all of our meters (including the 25IDS) is an un-powered "dry contact" closure (though solid state). Electrically the Pulse Output is very similar to the closing of a dry contact switch. The only difference is that in this case the o...

Re: EKM Push Realtime Widget
You may have noticed that we have a new version of the widget that is a major improvement over the first one. Here is the widget for the latest 1000 reads, from Omnimmeter 10068, with EKM Push Key MTAxMDoyMDIw http://widget.ekmmetering.com/EKM2/?reads=1000&key=MTAxMDoyMDIw&meter=10068 If you...
