Re: Shorting CT outputs indefinitely
Thanks for the response. How can you tell if the CTs have become damaged? Is there a test that can be performed? I have a lot of test equipment and the background to do it, but I'm not sure how to accurately assess the condition of a CT. For reference. I heard a buzz for approximately 3 seconds befo...

Shorting CT outputs indefinitely
I may not need to measure the current in a handful of wires, but I would like to install CTs just in case because pulling the leads through the wall will not be feasible in the future. I read in the CT's instructions that the outputs can be shorted if the load needs to be energized while the CTs are...

Send data without a Push
Is it possible to upload data to the cloud data repository/database without a Push? In other words, is the API read only or are there endpoints that allow writing data as well?

Double triggering/clocking/pulsing
Similar to this thread, I am seeing multiple pulses per rotation with regularity. I'm using a custom solution that I designed (I'm a seasoned EE if it helps) through a Raspberry Pi Model 3B+, which works well with other pulse meters and pulse generating devices. The physical connection is a direct c...

Pinout of SPWM-075-HD
I have not been able to locate a pinout of the SPWM-075-HD meter in the datasheet, FAQ, or anywhere on this site. The electrical properties of each wire, even if they aren't used, should be available somewhere. Timing diagrams with setting times, maximum pulse rates, etc. would be helpful as well. I...

Re: Design a circuit "simulate" opening/closing a valve for a water tank
I realize this post is very old, but I thought I'd answer it in case someone else has a similar question. It's a common situation for filling tanks. You need to design a state machine to understand the logic before trying to implement a solution. It's very likely you will need to add more states and...
