Re: v4 First look
Bill, Glad you like the looks of the EKM-Omnimeter Pulse v.4! 8-) This meter does come with a load of new features that really open up a world of possibilities. Yes, this meter has separate kWh registers for each line, so yes you can have a 120 volt 2-wire load on each of the 3 lines and get back bo...

Re: New v4 Meter Read Regular Data Error
Hello Ed, There are a couple things you need to be sure of first: 1. Please make sure you are running the latest version of the EKM Dash. And make sure you have EKM-Omnimeter Pulse v.4 selected in the "Meter Model" when setting up a new meter. 2. The iSerial needs to be changed internally ...

Re: EKM Not tracking Utility Smart meter
SolarSentry, The ideal way to disconnect your meters from your CTs is to turn off all loads in the Primary Wire (the wire the CT is measuring), so that there is NO current in the Primary Wire. Then simply short the White CT wire to the Black CT wire. You can use a wire nut or an EKM Lever Nut to do ...

Re: Electric Meters
Maxim, We do not have a ready made solution to do exactly what you want at this time (for now you would need a computer to be running to implement this task). You could do this in a few ways: 1) Develop a microcontroller, raspberry pi, or Arduino type solution: This board that you develop could read...

Re: Electric Meters
Hello Maxim, To meter just one circuit of 230 volts 50Hz (we would consider this a foreign 230 volt 2-wire system) you will need just one EKM Omnimeter and 1 CT. For a wiring video of 1 EKM Omnimeter and 1 CT please see this video: http://www.ekmmetering.com/information/the-complete-guide.html#answe...

Re: EKM PUSH to PVOutput.org - Auto Uploader Service
SolarSentry, thank you for the link to the Consumption and Generation feed. We have come up with a little tutorial to help EKM Push users configure their PVOutput.org account. Here is a link to the .pdf file: http://documents.ekmmetering.com/How-to-add-an-Omnimeter-v.3-and-an-EKM-Push-to-PVoutput.or...
