I have the v.4 Omnimeter and a pulse counting gas meter to monitor my utility usage. I just recently got the iSerial converter, and my plan was to have a computer running the EKM Dash (registered version) to push the data to the cloud, and monitor it all through the EKM widget. I thought it would be clear when I got the iSerial how this would be achieved, but I can't figure out how to configure the EKM Dash app to push that data.
What do I enter for the user key? Which version number do I pick? Are the entries under "Remote" important if I'm only using the USB to RS485 adapter to connect to the Omnimeter v.4?
I came across directions for how to push data using the EKM Push, but I need information on how to do that with the iSerial and a connected computer pushing the data.

Re: Pushing Data to the Cloud with iSerial and the v.4 Omnim
There is really no way to do exactly what you describe. The EKM Push system (including the EKM Push gateway) is the only way to "Push" data to our cloud that can be utilized by the Widget. Here are the examples of the apps that use the EKM Push data: http://www.ekmmetering.com/solutions/push-apps.html
If you want to "Push" data out using the EKM Dash, the closest to this would be to setup a Report under events that generates every minute and posts the data to a Dropbox or Bittorrent Sync folder on the computer that is running the EKM Dash. This data is then essentially Pushed to all of your other computers that are running with your Dropbox or Bittorrent Sync folder. The data is in .csv format (and there is no way to get the Widget to use it), but it is there and if you were able to code, it could be conceivably utilized by your own application.
Hope this helps.

(sorry for posting this all over the forum)
The Push to v.4 is now officially released!!!!!!
You can now connect your EKM Omnimeter Pulse v.4 meters to your EKM Push and get your electricity, water, and gas meter data sent to your EKM Push account.
