Security certificate error

Post by Jbullock »

When I try to access my push data web address that came with my meter I get a security certificate error that both IE or Chrome won't ignore. I added the site address that came with the meter in my trusted site. No luck.

I can view the data with the widget.

Has anyone else had this issue?

This has to do with what is called an SSL certificate. We had this working a while back, but now we are waiting to re-install SSL until after we update some things.

See in your link you are using from your EKM Push credentials, that it begins with https. If you change the link to start with to http, it will work just fine.

Hope this helps.

Hi Jbullock,

Will you take a look at this again? We have recently updated some of our SSL certs (or rather how they are implemented) and think we have this dialed in now. Just a heads up this is only for Push calls that use https rather than just http in the beginning of the call.

Thanks,
Jameson
