EKM DASH displays energy use, but historical data is missing when exported

I'm currently using two OMNI METER II v.3 to measure HVAC energy consumption. The metered data is sent to a PUSH device and into the cloud. I'm monitoring the performance using the EKM DASH software. When I download the historical data, I have large gaps in the data that span from minutes to days. However, the dashboard will display the energy consumption in hourly intervals when I use the comparison feature. Please help me to understand what could be the issue. Also, how accurate is the data being graphed in the comparison chart of the DASH software?

Thanks!

Hello romemeek, welcome to the forum!!

Please post an image (screenshot) here showing what you are talking about. Im not clear if the issues you describe are with how the EKM Dash is displaying the real-time data, or the comparison chart data, or both.

Have you tried the EKM Widget? Does what the EKM Widget displays, match what your EKM Dash software is displaying also?

In addition, will you email us your EKM Push key, so that we know you have been granted access to this EKM Push data? That way we can help you directly with your data.

I understand what my issue is... The DASH does not store a complete history of the meter data. I had to access the data sent from the PUSH into the cloud database with the API Builder Tool... and now all is bliss. If anyone else is experiencing this issue, I was given these two links to explain the API and a tool to request specific historical data.

If you want to download historical data directly from the Push database you can use our Open Summary API, which is documented here:

We also have a Summary API Builder tool that you might find helpful:
