Is there any way or possibility to get phase rotation from the meter?

Thanks

It sounds like you are asking for the order in which the sine waves of a 3-phase system line up: https://www.allaboutcircuits.com/textbo ... -rotation/

As far as I know there would be no way to do this with our meters.

:geek: :idea:

Looking at it I feel like you could attempt this experiment (I have never done this).

This assumes your 3-phase system has parity power factor. It also assumes you are fine connecting your meter incorrectly for a while (watts and kWh will not be accurate during this test).

1. Connect voltage reference for line 1 to line 1.
Connect current transformer to line 1, connect the black and white wire leads from the CT to line 1 on the meter. What is your power factor on line 1?

2. Connect voltage reference for line 1 to line 1.
Connect current transformer to line 2, but connect the black and white wire leads from the CT to line 1 on the meter. What is your power factor on line 1?

3. Connect current transformer to line 3, but connect the black and white wire leads from the CT to line 1 on the meter. What is your power factor on line 1?

I cannot anticipate what the results will be to all 3 scenarios, but I would be interested in hearing what you find.

Small clarification - should I connect CT1/CT2/CT3 together and parallel or one at a time after L1/L2/L3 connected?
-> 2. I assume - you want me to connect L2 to L2.

I will try to perform this test late this week, with one idle meter what I have.

I would only conduct the experiment with 1 voltage reference wire and 1 CT. Again, Im not sure what your results will be.

-> 2. I assume - you want me to connect L2 to L2.
Voltage reference will be on line 1, CT will be on line 2, CT wires will be going to CT1.
