uk electricity metering

Post by andycrosse »

im looking to use these meters for lowering customers usage/ bills.

so i will be logging the usual but will also be looking at power factor.
would i be right in thinking power factor will be charged as worse case? e.g only the highest reading will be relavent

also maximum demand is another, is this maximum on a single phase or all three added together?

many thanks for any info you may have

Hey Andy,

Regarding power factor:
... Possibly. Best to check with the local power company for how they will bill.

Maximum Demand: this is based off of total watts - so all together.

Thanks,

Hey Andy,

For some reason I could not reply to your message in another topic, quoted here:

"hello

would it be possible to replace the ekm logo/link with our own personalised logo.

e.g if i want to install this for a customer and then they have the software, this will just link straight back to your website showing how much i paid and where they can get it from.

many thanks
andy"

Just wanted to let you know that this may be a possibility, depending on your volume ordered. Also, we are currently in the process of rewriting the software to make it better than ever so stay tuned for that.

Thanks again,

Seth
