Using API in Python

Post by Inventrex3601 »

Hi there,

I am having a issue with running the scripts in python. I used the ones from the API documents. Please see attached picture. I am looking where to change the code so it can properly convert the Unicode to bytes, but I cannot find where to change it. The number that is circled is the meter number, and I am assuming it is having trouble converting it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello I am by no means good at python, but from what I can tell, you are not posting enough information for me to try to determine what is going on. I would recommend that you post a .zip file of your python code, so that everyone on the forum can take a look. I would guess that you are inputing your meter number in a weird way, but again, Im not sure. Are all of the Bad Indentation warnings coming from your code or from ours?
