EKM-OmniMeter I v.3: Factory Default

Post by riv »

I am moving one EKM-OmniMeter I v.3 from one location to another and want to see if this is possible to reset all values or zero all values, as they come from the manufacturer?

Thank you for advice

Hello Riv,

It is not possible to reset the cumulative values (such as kWh) to zero. This is part of the requirements of being a revenue grade meter (to prevent tampering). The kWh values will always increase (like a standard or mechanical energy meter).

Our Omnimeter Pulse v.4 has separate "Resettable kWh" registers. These registers can be reset to zero like a trip odometer on your car. They do not affect the Main kWh registers.

If you ever need anything at all, please let us know.

Regards,
Jameson
