Sensor

Post by Onedruide »

Hey there

Is there someone who can tell me where to buy sensores for use with smart meters, here in denmark we have smart meters ( Landis+Gyr E120Gi ) and also a Landis+Gyr for water; we can't get the data from the company, so i want to evt. use the EKM-25EDSP-N v.2 and therefor i need 2 sensor to read out the light pulse.

Hi! Thanks for the inquiry.

So your meter has an infra-red pulse output?
We at EKM Metering do not sell IR pulse readers (you could search online for IR pulse readers). Do you know if the meter has a wired pulse output? If it does then you may be able to connect it to our EKM-25EDSP-N.

Remember that the EKM-25EDSP-N requires two hot lines going through it of 110 to 120 volts each - generally a 120/240V three wire system - to operate properly.

Another option would be to install your own EKM meter after the electric supplier's meter. This will give you a lot more data than just kWh!

Thanks,

Seth
