Dashboard setup

Post by Garry »

Have a Pulse v4 trying to setup Dashboard to monitor flows from 2 meters connected to it. Would like to monitor flows down to 1 gpm. With 3/4" meter sending pulse for .75 gal, what should pulse value be set at? Pulse Input Ratio is factory set at 1000:1 so I have set Pulse Value at 0.001. On Dashboard no water use is showing.

Please post a screenshot of the settings you have used int he Pulse Tab.

It sounds like you would like to have your Pulse Input Ratio set to 1:1 For every Pulse generated by your water meters the Pulse Count would then increment by 1.

If you are using an EKM SPWM-075 water meter I would setup your Dash like the attached image.

Used setting u suggested but had to set Pulse Value at 0.0001 because Pulse Input Ratio is set at 1000. How can you change the Pulse Input Ratio? I saw in other comments that it is set in the software; I guess I really don't need to change it since I just adjusted the pulse value.

I am still not getting any readings on the Dashboard. Do you folks have to set the pulse ratio? On the screen shot you gave it showed I could change it and then select "Set"; I do not have that capability. When I go to EKM Meters/Pulse all three of Pulse Input has a Pulse Input Ratio of 1000 and I cannot change it.

Garry,

See the reply to your related questions here: http://forum.ekmmetering.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3372

When you have your USB converter setup you will then be able to make meter settings using your EKM Dash. You cannot yet make meter settings when you are reading your meters via the EKM Push system.

Let us know how it goes.

Hello Fabio,

Thanks for the screenshots.

If you are seeing the input states change from Open to Closed to Open to Closed, I would first try power cycling the v4 meter. It sounds like you may have bumped into the lockup issue: http://forum.ekmmetering.com/viewtopic. ... ckup#p6244 After the power cycle, please let us know if you see this again and we would be happy to help you out.

Thanks,
Jameson
