Accessing old meter data

Post by sunpack »

Hello
I installed a EKM Omnimeter Pulse Version 4 a few years ago (sometime in 2015). At that time I also installed the GAS meter (EKM-PGM-075) and water meter (EKM-SPWM-075). I connected these both to my Omnimeter. However, at the time I did not have the EKM PUSH system. I just recently connected the PUSH system to my Omnimeter. I am receiving data but I cannot seem to access any of the historical data that I would assume is retained in my OmniMeter. I see the totals but I was hoping to see all intervals since I installed the Omnimeter.

Hello Sunpack,

The Omnimeter Pulse v.4 does not store historical data about pulse counts. The only data that it stores is the 6 months of monthly kWh data.

You will need to connect your Omnimeter to a computer or to the EKM Push system in order to store the meter reads (including the pulse counts from your water meter and gas meter) for historical reference. The EKM Push is the better system for storing data via our Summary API, if you have a choice to use it.
