Changing EKM Pulse v4 from single phase supply (2 wire) to three phase supply (4 wire)

I am looking to install an EKM Omnimeter Pulse v.4 into my switchboard. I currently have single phase supply (Australia 230V Phase to Neutral). In the near future I am looking to have my switchboard upgraded to a three phase supply (4 wire, nominal 415V P-P, 230V P-N), but still have the same EKM meter in place to capture usage.

What I would like to know is provided that the EKM meter is setup in an approved manner for the single phase setup (2 wire), then when I upgrade to three phase system (4 wire) the same, would there be any issue in the system with doing so?
From what I have read the EKM meter system will not have any issue with this change.

I realise that I would have to be purchasing additional CTs & have correct voltage inputs and so forth, but would like clarification that there would not be any issue with this change. Overall the EKM meter system would not care about the change.

Thanks in advance.

Hello yelhsahtims, welcome to the forum!!

Yes you are correct that you can use the same Omnimeter for a single phase system and a 3-phase system without having to configure the meter itself. The only difference is how you connect the meter, CTs, and voltage reference wires.

Fo your 230 volt 2-wire system (foreign countries for others reading this) you would use this wiring setup: https://help.ekmmetering.com/support/so ... n-metering

Your your 3-phase 4-wire system you would use this wiring setup:

Hope this helps,
