EKM Metering

Two questions:

Other than the Spec Sheet, which i copied from the web site, is there a users or operators manual/instructions?

Meter monitors electricity on a dock. after recent flooding, where dock light fixtures were underwater (power of course was turned off), getting an occasional flashing red light on the EKM unit. Is this a normal power usage indication that maybe i didn't notice before?

Sorry to hear you were affected by the recent flooding! I hope everything is better for you guys now and that you are on the road to recovery.

The EKM 25IDS does not have a users manual as such. Assuming it was properly installed using the instructions on the Spec Sheet, the 25IDS just displays the Total kWh that it has measured since it was installed.

The red light on the face of all of our kWh meters indicates kWh usage and blinks in conjunction with the Pulse Output. If you are using more power it will blink fast, less power it will blink slower. For the 25IDS it blinks 800 times per kilowatt hour or 1.25 times per watt hour. You can use the pulse output as a way to read this meter remotely.
