Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
Hello! 1. We wont be including the documentation about how to flash over the JTAG, but if you own the ioStack, there is nothing we can do to stop you from tinkering with it. What functionality would you like to add? What improvements would you like to see? Or are you just curious to re-create the io...

Re: iostack Topology in Distributed 485bee Network
Great question. You will be able to connect the ioStack to your RS485 network, just like you connect an Omnimeter now. The ioStack has an RS485 terminal block for the connection for the RS485 A and the RS485 B connections. The ioStack can be up to 4000 feet from the EKM Push on a hardwire connection...

Re: Account keys for used units
We need the original owners permission to transfer them to you. Just have them write us an email with the email address that they used to purchase the meters. If you do not know the original owner, you can email us the meter numbers, and we will contact the original owner. Then once we have permissi...

Re: Pulse inputs to RS485 Push 3 protocol with Raspberry Pi
Hello, Im glad to hear you are interested in the ioStack. In our opinion it is a cool piece of kit! The ioStack is hot off the press, so it will take us a while to get our documentation in order. We do not plan to open source the ioStack hardware, but we do plan to share the ioStack RS485 communicat...

Re: Question about enclosures and outside temperatures
In our experience, the concern usually has to do more with heat than with cold. As long as the enclosure is in a shaded location you should be fine. The issue comes if the clear enclosure is mounted in very hot direct sun, the clear lid can act like a magnifying glass. Electronics really hate heat, ...

Re: Space in EKM0303015 UL Enclosure
Yes, you should be able to fit all of that equipment in the XL enclosure. This attached image shows an XL 303015 enclosure, with 3 x Omnimeter Pulse v.4, 1 x DIN rail power supply, 1 x EKM Push3 gateway, and 1 x RUT240 Cellular modem installed inside, you should have space to run the CAT5 cables and...

Re: Send data without a Push
The only way for meter data to get into the Push cloud system is via a Push3 that is assigned to your meter. It would be quite a headache to support incoming data from a variety of computers/gateways/3rd party meters/anomalous data/etc So that is why we lock it down in this way. And yes, on top of t...

Very interesting. We will put it in the hopper for Dash development. Thank you for the explanation.

Re: EKM Dash iSerial IPv6 connectivity
Im sorry, this is quite a ways out of my wheelhouse. Im not sure if the iSerial supports IPV6 or not. I suspect not, because it is such a simple device. I tried searching the web for: ATC-1000 "ipv6" ATC-1200 "ipv6" but did not come up with anything definitive. We have stopped se...

Re: options to get the push3 data to the internet
What is the reason a LoRWAN would not work? (Push3 wifi to esp32, then esp32 sends data out on LoRaWAN to a LoraGateway and now it's on the internet) In theory someone could develop a device that would read EKM Omnimeters, parse the data, and make it available over LoRaWAN. This device could send t...
