Hi,
We use Ominmeter v3 for meter reading. We connect meter to get reading of 3 wire 400V as per the ekm manual.
We used 2 nos. CTs (1500 A).
Issues:
As per your instruction; for 3 wire meter reading using 2 CTs and we are getting amps reading for L1 and L3 only.
We need amps reading for 3 phases L1, L2, L3. Is it possible :?:

Voltage for line 1 not showing the correct reading (Actual: 390V; Meter reading: 351V). Does this affect KWH reading. How to resolve this issue.. :?:

Thanks and Regards
Vishnu :)

Hello Vishnu,

It sounds like you have an Omnimeter I v.3 connected to a 3-phase 3-wire system.

Did you use this wiring diagram? (including the jumper from port 8 to port 10): http://www.ekmmetering.com/information/ ... ml#answer7

The only way to properly meter a 3-phase 3-wire system is to use 2 CTs. If you can run a neutral to the meter (making it a 3-phase 4-wire system) then you can use 3 CTs (and get 3 separate amperage values).

Are you using a handheld volt meter to compare the voltages you are seeing?

Thanks,
