Time drifting

I am currently running an OmniMeter V.3 in a 4 wire configuration 240v 50Hz.

Monitoring the unit via the Dash it appears that the meter time is drifting from the real time.

Is there a chance that the meter clock is expecting a 60Hz frequency?

Devtech,

Very interesting observation! Can you tell us if the meter time is drifting forward or drifting backwards? Over a 24 hour period, how much would you say the clock drifts? Would it be a second or 2 or closer to a minute?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jameson,

The time has drifted out by about 3:30+ over 12 days (would expect it to be behind on 50Hz).

I will reset it tonight and test it over a 12hr period and let you know the results.

UPDATE

It appears that when connected to the meter by RS485 the time is correct however, when connected via the Push device and accessed over the LAN the time is out.

Have reset the time twice and swapped between both options (485 / Dash) with the same result.

Has me confused?

The Push time was out of whack, take a look at it now. It should be fixed.

Thanks for your patience.
