Push3 Power Supply

Post by Tightpants »

I’m planning to install a Push3 in the same junction box as a Omnimeter HV v.5. Power supply to the Push3 is a bit challenging in my setup. Is it possible to power the Push3 with 12VDC output from the Omnimeter?

Sorry, no the Omnimeter output is only 50mA at 12VDC, the Push3 draws between 160mA to 275mA, so the the Omnimeter output is not enough to power the EKM Push. The outputs of the Omnimeter can be used to power a 485Bee radio, or to control a small relay or a large solid state relay.

You can probably use a DIN rail power supply in your situation if your voltage is not too high: https://www.ekmmetering.com/collections ... wer-supply

Otherwise you can try to find a higher voltage DIN rail power supply that will output 12VDC.
